United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia: In 2004, Rami began his extensive work with the UN-ESCWA. This involves his participation in the seminar on Rural Development in Lebanon in December 2004. The following year he took on the roll of Economics Affairs Officer, working on the sustainable development program, in the globalization and regional integration division. He resumed this position, at both levels P3 and P4 up until 2006. His research can be seen in the paper released by the organization in partnership with AUB’S Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences, titled “Employment Creation and Income Generation through the Development of Micro and Small Agro-Industries in South Lebanon.” This work was published in April 2006.
